Salud and Armando’s 50th golden wedding anniversary photography captured a wonderful celebration of over 50 years of marriage between the lovely couple. We photographed Salud and Armando’s wedding ceremony at St. Charles Catholic Church and their reception at Loews Coronado Bay Resort. Lot’s of great moments were captured in between as well.
The couple’s 50th golden wedding anniversary photography began at St. Charles Catholic Church in San Diego, CA. The ceremony was intimate and special with family and friends being present. Although still in the midst of the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, everyone followed the social distancing requirements but that didn’t detract from the importance and joy of Salud and Armando’s golden wedding anniversary.
After the ceremony we spent some time at the church creating a variety of posed and creative wedding day photos. With a smartly-planned list of group photos, something I always recommend couples prepare, we were careful not to miss any combination of poses for the golden wedding anniversary photography. The photos we took required only about about 45 minutes to create, which is a typical amount of time. Afterwards it was off to the reception.
Salad and Armando’s reception was held at the lovely Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, CA. The resort is situated to provide some fantastic views of San Diego Bay and the San Diego Skyline, and these made for a nice backdrop to the couple’s photos. However, the Loews Coronado Bay Resort was surely not out done. The resort itself features beautiful decor inside and out, great staff and excellent excellent cuisine, and the aptly-named Sunset Terrace hosted the reception and it was wonderfully appointed. The Golden Wedding decor was the creation of the couple and their family. The centerpiece photos were a really nice touch, featuring black and white photos from when Salud and Armando were married some 50 years ago. And the larger prints from their wedding made a great backdrop to the couple.
Master of Ceremonies for the afternoon through early evening reception was the very talented Joseph of JVI Entertainment. He kept the wedding reception schedule nicely on track, played great music, and even shared his own great vocals. And there were other vocals during the reception, too. The couple’s daughters sang (as they did for the ceremony) and several guests had their moment with the microphone, too. Even Armando graced everyone with a song to Salud.
It was a pleasure providing Salud and Armando’s 50th golden wedding anniversary photography. As part of the couple’s wedding photography package they are receiving a great collection of memories, including hundreds of beautiful digital photos from their day to use as they wish and over a dozen prints to frame and share!
