Wedding photography for Ann Marie and Daniel’s wedding that captured their ceremony at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and reception at StoneRidge Country Club. The two Poway, California wedding venues proved to be lovely locations that helped me create a wonderful collection of wedding day photos for the couple.
The 6-hours of wedding photography began at St. Michael’s Catholic Church to capture in photo-documentary and artistic style their Catholic wedding ceremony, with a family portrait session afterwards inside the nicely-lit church. Using a several lenses and both cameras, as I always do for wedding photography, I was able to capture all combinations and sizes of newlyweds and their family.
The different camera and lens combinations, and of course the editing that’s included with wedding photography packages – like the one purchased by Ann Marie and Daniel’s for their church and country club wedding photos – will always result in perfect wedding photos and portraits. After all, a wedding is often the one occasion when families come together from near and far, so it’s a time that not only can’t be missed, but should always be enhanced with great photography, too.
About an hour and a half afterward the church wedding we headed over to the couple’s reception venue to create their StoneRidge Country Club wedding photos. At the country club and on the nice greens and landscaping, we spent a little time creating more photos of the bride and groom with their wedding party, then more shots with just the bride and groom. A gentle breeze not only kept the temperature comfortable, but it added a nice bit of movement in Ann Marie’s wedding veil, and this complimented some of the bridal photos of Ann Marie.
The remaining few hours of the couple’s wedding day photography focused on their reception. StoneRidge Country Club provided a really good wedding venue for the reception because of the nice layout of the facility, great food and excellent service of Debra and her staff. The master of ceremonies and DJ for wedding reception was Mick of Elite British DJ, who provided a terrific mix of music and kept the wedding schedule perfectly on track. The overall schedule and planning for the wedding reception was managed very nicely by Debra of Exclusive Designs & Events. The delicious looking and tasting wedding cake was made by Cute Cakes.
