Columbia College San Diego Commencement Photography
Congratulations to the newest graduates of Columbia College San Diego. It was a pleasure being the College’s official commencement photographer, capturing the wonderful ceremony, its preparation, and creating posed professional photos of grads and their families for the evening event at Liberty Station, San Diego.
The Columbia College San Diego Commencement was held in Bldg. 177 of the Corky McMillan Event Center and hosted by NTC Venues at Liberty Station. Located adjacent to beautiful plazas, the venue is actually an historic Library and a popular large space with wonderful vaulted ceilings and windows allowing plenty of natural light. This lighting provided a very nice accent to the commencement photography.

The entire collection of commencement photography includes the graduates’ group photos on stage and outdoors, preparation with the ivy chain, dignitaries and graduates processional, national anthem, invocation, welcome and introductions, remarks, ivy chain ceremony, commencement address, presentation of candidates, conference of degrees, welcome to the alumni, closing remarks, benediction, and recessional. In addition, I tried to capture some of the elegance of the venue, the lovely flowers from Aztec Flower Market, which were also used in the posed photos, and the cake and beverages were from San Diego Catering Concepts.
In addition to the special group photos an your individual photos on stage when you were handed your degree, you may also have posed to individual or family graduation photos.
