Near the Hotel Del Coronado, California, Emily and Dan had a lovely sunset wedding on the beach. Their early evening wedding on the sandy beach was accompanied by the sights and sounds of surf from the Pacific Ocean, and warm Summer weather. The couple’s destination wedding Coronado, officiated by Reverend Cathy Glenn of Ever After Weddings, was a fun ceremony surrounded by friends and family.
Emily wore a strapless semi-sweetheart wedding dress that also contrasted nice with the white shirt and khaki pants that Dan wore, and were a perfect choice for the beach for destination wedding Coronado. The groomsmen also worse similar white shirts and khaki shorts. However the bridesmaids each had on nice teal-colored dresses. The couple’s daughters’, who were also part of the bridesmaids, wore contrasting teal dresses.
Following the exchange of wedding rings, the couple’s destination wedding in Coronado included the giving of necklaces as gifts to Emily and Dan’s daughters, and then a sand ceremony which all four participated in. The sand ceremony entitled each person pouring a vial of differently colored sand into a larger container, in this case a glass-shaped heart. This unity ceremony symbolizes the joining and bending of lives, and makes for a wonderful keepsake from the wedding ceremony.
Following the beach wedding ceremony we created some posed and creative photos with all of the wedding guests, wedding party, some of the couples present at the wedding, and of course of Emily and Dan’s family, and of just the couple. Their wedding photography only required an hour, but in that time a nice collection of memories were captured.
