Jocelyn and Kalen’s wedding photography took place at the nice wedding venue of Admiral Baker Clubhouse. The Admiral Baker Clubhouse and golf course is one of the many lovely venues available to active and retired military in the U.S. Navy Region Southwest, and one of a number of nice military locations where I’ve been pleased to photograph military families. And once again, Admiral Baker offered panoramic views of the golf course and surrounding mountains, making for a lovely backdrop to Jocelyn and Kalen’s wedding.
In this wedding photography article you can see some of my wedding photographer favorite photos of the couple from their Admiral Baker wedding, including images created at the along the golf course, at nearby pond with wonderful trees, and at the clubhouse. Photography began with shots of Jocelyn, her bridesmaids, and her daughter and other flower girls on the lawn, with fairways, palms and trees as our photography backdrop. This moment lead into a wonderful wedding first look between the bride and her groom Kalen, which was certainly one of many really happy moments for the couple.
Having the first look meant we could do a lot of important wedding photography before the ceremony. So it was at this time that we created a nice collection of wedding photos with the wedding party and the families. We also had the time to create some lovely wedding photos with just the bride and groom, which we set out to do by taking a gold cart out to a different are of the course where there was a pond, trees and great lighting for wedding photography.
Joceyln and Kalen’s wedding ceremony and photography took place next on the patio and was officiated wonderfully by their Navy Chaplain. Everyone of their 100 plus guests enjoyed the sweet and fun wedding ceremony as much as I did. Because of the two cameras and multiple lenses that I alway use, and moving about unobtrusively, I captured a nice variety of perspectives of wedding ceremony photography for the couple, some of which you can see here.
After the ceremony the guests were able to enjoy a nice cocktail hour. Because we had already shot most of the posed photos that the couple wanted with family and friends, Jocelyn and Kaylen were able to spend nearly the entire cocktail hour with their guests, many of whom had travelled some distance to come and share in their Admiral Baker wedding day.
The Presidio Ballroom featured the wedding reception, which like the cocktail hour was catered to by the fantastic staff of Admiral Baker, who prepared an excellent meal and were always very pleasant and attentive to the guests. The Admiral Baker wedding photography captured the grand entrance, first dance, father-caught dance, meals, toasts, bouquet ross, garter toss, cake cutting, dancing, and a large group photo. The wedding schedule and excellent music and sound was managed perfect by master of ceremonies and DJ Deondre of MYDJS.
Jocelyn and Kalen’s Admiral Baker wedding photography was a true delight to create, prepare and share here for the couple. With their online gallery of images, prints, ready to hang wall art, and perhaps a wedding album, the couple will have timeless and beautiful keepsakes of their wedding that will last a lifetime.
