I had the pleasure of meeting June and Scott earlier in the year for their first wedding ceremony at Sunset Cliffs. And for this ceremony we were in the lovely home of their friend’s for their El Cajon wedding. On this occasion, June and Scott were able to have their family and closest friends present, and it was every bit as wonderful as before, and more so.
Their ceremony on this evening was again presided over by Pastor Kevin Sanford of The Harbor Church San Diego. Kevin spoke eloquently and passionately about the importance of marriage and of each other. Kevin, along with his wife, has a wealth of understanding about the unity of marriage, in part from their 20 years on the mission field pioneering and pastoring churches in Europe and Central America. June and Scott have also been involved with missions and in supporting others.
Being in the company of the couple again, to photograph their El Cajon wedding, was a real pleasure because of the sincerity with which they share for each other and to those around them. And although I was providing wedding photography, an important aspect of the photography was to capture the moments of the couple with their family and friends.
As in many weddings, it’s the one opportunity where those closest to us all gather at the same time, so it’s more important than ever to preserve the very special occasion through photography. So with that, it was a pleasure to also create a nice collection of family portraits for June and Scott and their family.
During this evening of wedding photography, I also took time to capture the Christmas decor and wonderfully prepared food they had catered to them by Supannee House of Thai in San Diego. And their wedding cakes were wonderful, too.
In addition to capturing to some of my photographer favorites shown on this page, you can see June and Scott’s complete collection of El Cajon wedding photos can in my San Diego Wedding Photographer Client Galleries (password required).
