A sunny and bright afternoon in the Southern California coastal city of Carlsbad at the lovely Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa. It was a wonderful wedding venue for Laurel and Chris, and it was my pleasure providing the couple’s Carlsbad wedding photography. With an expansive green lawn, surrounded by green and color lush landscaping, the ceremony venue felt as much like a large park as it did an intimate space where family and friends gathered for Laurel and Chris’ Sheraton Carlsbad wedding.
The couple’s Carlsbad wedding venue was coordinated by Louise of the Sheraton Carlsbad, and I have to say she did a fantastic job. From the lovely setting to the very nice touch of having Sheraton staff serving hors d’oeurves and champagne to the wedding party and guests after the ceremony. Speaking of the ceremony, it was officiated beautifully by Reverend Cathy Glenn of Ever After Weddings. Though planning of the ceremony happened ahead of time between Revered Glenn and the wedding couple, she still provided always-important orchestration of the procession, and of course delivered the wonderful ceremony for the newlyweds, Laurel and Chris.
Before the ceremony, as the guests gathered, guitarist Alex Guillen played enchanting melodies that welcomed them to the Sheraton Carlsbad wedding. Alex continued to play other acoustic guitar music of just the right kind and at the appropriate time during the wedding. While the music played, I was busy providing the couple’s Carlsbad wedding photography, capturing a wide variety of candid photos before, during and after the ceremony, and a nice collection of posed photos afterwards.

The wedding photos featured here reflect shots that are typical of my style, which is one of diversity, multiple views and angles, and a mix of both natural and unique colors. I create images and use post-editing techniques that I feel are an expression of the couple and their wedding. In that way, each wedding that I photograph always results in a very personalized collection of wedding photos, and this gives the couple much to choose from for their wedding prints and wedding album. Whether providing San Diego wedding photography, or photography in Carlsbad and other wedding destination locations, every wedding and collection of wedding photos that I create are, by my nature, special and unique to each couple.
