Maureen and Chris’ wedding ceremony took place near the historic Hotel del Coronado, San Diego’s legendary seaside resort. The couple’s ceremony on Coronado Beach was a destination wedding, made even more beautiful for all the family and friends who joined them. The wedding day itself was lovely, in typical Southern California style, with sunny blue skies and gentle waves along the shore of the beach in front of the Hotel del Coronado.
Just a short drive over the bay from San Diego, the Hotel del Coronado and its surrounding white-sand beaches, are always delightful for weddings and wedding photography. You can get an idea of just how nice some of the beach weddings and Hotel del Coronado wedding areas can be by looking through this collection of some of my wedding photographer favorites of Maureen and Chris’s photos. As with all of the many weddings I shoot I often look to create a unique view in wedding photography, with no cookie-cutter shots, because after all, every wedding is special and the photography should always be, too.
