Turn Your Photos Into Art

Rachel and Shane Sycuan Wedding Photos by San Diego Wedding Photographer Andrew AbounaPhotos that I capture for you or ones that you take yourself are meant to be enjoyed, not just for the memories they bring but because they can be beautiful to look at. It’s often said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but after turning your photos into art you’ll want to display and share them because they’ll look so good to everyone.

The transformation in quality that professional photography can provide should be fantastic. Take a look at these three photos of the same image from Rachel and Shane’s wedding. The photo composition itself is a lovely wedding shot of the couple sharing a kiss just after their wedding ceremony, after they walked back past their guests after having been pronounced married. It was an unrehearsed, unexpected moment that I was in the right place at the right time for. But what I want to show you is how all three photos compare.

The first photo is the raw shot without any editing, while the next two images I’ve enhanced the photos into art. The second photo is the version which the couple received as a 16″ x 24″ Metal Print after I edited the image for accurate yet vibrant colors. I also have a copy of the image in my photography studio so that I can show other clients. Now look at the third photo. This one has been transformed even further into a more fun version of the initial wedding photo.

With professional photography you should always expect high quality images like these. Photos that are taken at the right place and right time, as well as first-rate editing, preparation and even delivery of your images are so important. On top of that, your photos should be enjoyed for years to come, not hidden in your computer somewhere. So, by turning your favorite photos into art and preparing them properly to display, such as with Metal Prints or Standout Prints, you’ll always be able to enjoy your photos in a way that will remind you of the moment the photos were captured, and by seeing your photos as art that is uniquely yours.
