The University Club Atop Symphony Towers in downtown San Diego is one of the city’s premier private social and business club. Located at the pinnacle of one of downtown’s tallest buildings, The University Club offers a stunning panoramic view of the downtown skyline. And inside, was the very delightful University Club San Diego wedding reception for Valerie and Raul!
I arrived at Symphony Towers with Valerie and Raul just after my assistant and I photographed their Mission San Diego de Alcala wedding. The couple’s wedding reception photography began in the bright contemporary bar where they celebrated with their first drink together. From there we went out to street level to create some interesting perspective wedding photos of the newlyweds, backdropped by downtown San Diego buildings. From there we went to the top of Symphony Towers for their University Club San Diego Wedding Reception.
The modern and elegant layout of the University Club was a real compliment to Valerie and Raul, and the entire evening went by perfectly. The couple’s schedule for their University Club San Diego wedding reception was managed perfectly by Daniel Camacho of JD Musik, whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with before. As always, he did a great job of keeping the evening on schedule, and I really appreciated the coordination we shared to help ensure being ready for the photography of key moments. Throughout the reception The University Club’s service was wonderful, as was the meal.
