Three San Diego Wedding Photographers Capture it All for Amanda and Paul – AbounaPhoto

A full day of wedding photos in San Diego for Amanda and Paul with three San Diego wedding photographers. Together we captured the couple’s getting ready, photos in parks, matrimony at Saint Charles Catholic Church in Chula Vista. Even more photos were taken at Shelter Island and then their reception at Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego.

While photographers Andrea and Josh were busy in part of the city photographing the groom Paul and his guys, I (Andrew) was with the girls elsewhere in Chula Vista capturing Bride Amanda and the girls as they were getting ready. Andrea and Josh first captured the guys in their room then created a nice collection of groom and groomsmen photos at Memorial Park in Chula Vista, CA.

While the girls were finishing with hair and makeup I spent time photographing Amanda’s wedding dress and the bridesmaid’s dresses. Next it was time to shoot Amanda in her dress, and then a special moment of her father’s first look of Amanda in her wedding dress. After this we spent some time photographing Amanda, the girls, and family at Mountain Hawk Park in Chula Vista, CA.

With it now time for the couple’s matrimony at Saint Charles Catholic Church in Chula Vista, CA, we three San Diego wedding photographers coordinated at the church ready for the wedding ceremony. The matrimony was a traditional and very lovely ceremony that looked perfect in the beautiful St. Charles Catholic Church.

Once the ceremony was complete, with Amanda and Paul now together, it was possible to go from three San Diego wedding photographers down to just me. Using two cameras and multiple lenses I was able ensure a complete range of perspectives and shots. Making our way to Shelter Island in San Diego we captured more wedding party and family photos.

Next it was time for the couple’s wedding reception at Admiral Kidd Club on Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego. Admiral Kidd is a wonderful venue for weddings and evens where I’ve photographed a lot of times. Its view of San Diego Bay and the downtown skyline, and the service by the staff, make it an excellent venue. The reception ceremonies and music for the evening were handled by DJ Guy, whom I’ve worked with many times in the past and who always does a really wonderful job of ensuring reception timeline runs smoothly and all of the guests have a wonderful time. The photography for the reception captured a wonderful collection of shots of all the key moments, decor, and everyone having a really great time.
