On the beach, under the pier and on the grass near the bay. With this nice mix of venues it’s hard to imagine a much nicer location than Pacific Beach and Paradise Point Resort for a wedding. But with these spots being favorites for Melissa and Adam it was an easy choice for them to make to have a Pacific Beach and Paradise Point wedding.
Wedding photography began for the couple in the morning when I met up with them and their family to capture the final parts of their getting ready for their Pacific Beach and Paradise Point wedding.
Tucked away on gentle Mission Bay in the heart of San Diego, Paradise Point Resort & Spa features comfortable bungalow-style rooms amidst lush, tropical gardens and tranquil lagoons. The couple and their families were renting several rooms and beach-front bungalows, which made for a nice setting for their afternoon reception, and beachside fire later that evening.
Next it was on to Pacific Beach for their wedding ceremony. Here I captured shots of the couple gazing out upon the lovely blue Pacific Ocean, on wooden overlooks, and of course of their ceremony on the beach next to the gentle waves of the ocean. Following their ceremony photography we captured some posed family photos on the beach, then Melissa, Adam and I headed to Crystal Pier so that we could create some lovely beach wedding photos under the pier. Unlike most of the wooden piers that reach out into the ocean along San Diego’s coastline, Crystal Pier has a lot of structural beams, which is required to support the hotel and cottages atop the pier. Still, the posts and beams, and beach and waves made for a nice setting.
With the beach wedding photos finished, we made the short drive back to the Mission Bay resort for the reception part of the couple’s Paradise Point wedding photography. At the resort we created some nice wedding photos around the resort on the grass, at the beach, and amongst the tropical foliage and lagoons. The couple needed only a four-hour wedding photography package, and so with the getting ready shots, beach ceremony and photos, and some reception photography, it was soon time for me to wrap up.
Melissa and Adam’s Pacific Beach and Paradise Point wedding photography includes a private online gallery of photos to view and share, a collection of prints, a DVD with all of their photos in high resolution and full print rights, and a nice mounted Standout print of another favorite image that’s ready to hang on their wall. And with so many great wedding photos that I created for the couple, the very best way to enjoy them is going to be in a beautiful, Italian-made wedding album so that the photos are always available to see and touch.
