The Ocean View Room wedding for Kristin and Sean, who wore his army uniform, was a splendid event that we delighted in photographing. Surrounded by family and friends the couple received lovely wedding ceremony followed by a fun reception. The Ocean View San Diego Bay wedding for Kristin and Sean was a formal yet relaxed event. And there was no better location than this military event venue situated on the Point Loma submarine base. Amidst fantastic views of San Diego Bay, the downtown skyline, and the ocean and hills, the scenery was as fantastic as the wedding itself.
Formally known as Ocean View at Ballast Point, the wedding venue is located on Naval Base Point Loma in the neighborhood of Point Loma in San Diego, California. Ocean View is another of the many nice Navy Region Southwest wedding venues where I’ve photographed. This area is in fact quite historic, with importance to the region dating as far back as 1795. An Ocean View wedding like this one is complimented by the magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and entrance to San Diego Bay. The wedding venues large wooden deck features a gazebo overlooking the water, which helped make for great shots, particularly at night with nice uplighting provided by Joseph Ignacio of JVI Entertainment. And as always, the staff at Ocean View were fantastic.
One of the classic elements in the Ocean View San Diego Bay Wedding for Kristin and Sean in His Army Uniform would certainly be his very fine uniform, and that of the chaplain who delivered and outstanding ceremony. But Kristin was certainly not outdone, because he looked beautiful in her wonderful wedding dress, and so did the bridesmaids own their blue dresses and he groomsmen in their suits.
There were five hours of wedding photography for the Ocean View San Diego Bay Wedding for Kristin and Sean. The photography began with the ceremony then captured a variety of posed and fun photos afterwards, as wells as complete photo-documentary of the reception afterwards.
