Otay Lakes Wedding Photography for Deb and Jon

Deb and Jon Otay Lakes Wedding Photography by San Diego Wedding Photographers Andrew Abouna - AbounaPhotoDeb and Jon’s Otay Lakes wedding photography included a great documentation of their day plus a lot of creative shots, too. Check out the video of the couple’s photography in Chula Vista, California. The video of their wedding photography captured everything from getting ready, first look, ceremony, reception, and everything in between.

Jon, his groomsmen, and myself arrived at the lake ahead of the bride, to give us time to get some shots of the guys. The groom and his groomsmen were photographed amongst the eucalyptus near the lake. The litter of leaves and bark upon the ground, combined with the tallness of the trees made for some bold shots of the guys.

With Jon liking the plan and he Jon now in place and with instructions to not turn around until Deb was near, I let Deb know what the first look plan would be. With a little help to manage her wedding dress train, she made it into place a dozen feet from Jon, who was still looking in the opposite direct and yet to see Deb in her wedding dress. After circling around the couple to capture a nice mix of shots from both the bride and groom’s perspective, it was time for Jon to turn around to see Deb. A lot of shots captured this moment, again from a various perspectives, an then I moved away more to give the couple a few minutes of privacy at this very special time.

We followed the Otay Lakes wedding photography first look with wedding party photos, and then a few photos with a horse and carriage the couple had requested. And this was how the bride and her father were transported to the nearby ceremony location. So while Deb and her dad were being drawn to the venue, Jon, hist groomsmen and of their family and friends finished arriving and were seated awaiting the bride. Upon the bride’s arrival by carriage, her father escorted Deb down the aisle to her waiting groom for the wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony the couple took a short ride in the carriage, which was photographed of course, and then they returned to the ceremony venue for their first dance, the bride and father dance, and the groom and mother dance; these were heartfelt moment, too, and were also beautifully captured for the couple.

Next it was time for the couples reception, which was held right next to the ceremony venue at the lake. The reception space was beautifully decorated. The table pieces included framed, transparent negative prints of the couple, flowers, and lovely place settings. And the sweetheart table had a backdrop of large paper flowers, and nearby was the couple’s wedding cake made by  Just Alex Cakes by Alejandra. Not only did the cake look fantastic, but the topper featured a very accurately made couple that looked just like Deb and Jon! Everything loved this. And the tasty food  for the late afternoon reception consisted of fresh cooked street tacos provided by Rodeo’s Catering.

Following the reception we made some more creative shots, and more posed photos with the couple and guests, who just couldn’t get enough of each other. It was a fun day!

The couple’s wedding photography package featured unlimited wedding photography using two cameras and multiple lenses, which helped with creating a variety of angles and perspectives. All of their photos were edited to ensure best quality, then uploaded to a private wedding gallery to view share with guests, and where they and their guests can order professional prints with an early bird special of 25% off normal prices. The package also includes a set of professional prints, and a larger printed that’s turned into a Standout Print wall art which is ready to hang. The package is completed with a DVD of all of their images in higher resolution.
