Yacht Wedding Video for Laura and Dave
Come Sail Away With Me, or rather, Laura and Dave for their wedding aboard the 54′ yacht Mon Bijou, from Seaforth Boat Rentals on San Diego Bay. In this yacht wedding video slideshow it’s nice to see some of my favorite selections from their yacht wedding photos. Dynamic shows like this one, with nice transitions really helps wedding and reception photos come more alive.
It’s not just the wedding video that’s dynamic, but so too was photographing aboard the moving yacht. Being an avid sailor and boater myself, I felt quite comfortable on the water, so all I had to was go about the wonderful business of wedding photography, and capturing Laura and Dave, and their friends, enjoying such a happy time.
In this yacht wedding video you’ll see waterfront sites of San Diego, like the USS Midway Museum, even the Stars and Stripes Sail USA 11 yacht, as it and other boats sail by and those aboard wave to the newlyweds. And they couldn’t have picked a nicer day for sailing or a nicer day for a wedding. Beautiful blue skies and water, and just the right amount of wind to push our sails that moved us smoothly along San Diego Bay.
In the video you’ll get a sense of the timeline of their wedding photography and day, from getting ready, entrance, boarding the yacht, the couple’s wedding ceremony aboard the sailboat, sailing about the bay, champagne celebration, and arrival back at the dock for their wedding reception where more guests were awaiting us. The reception featured wonderfully catered food and wedding adornments. Everything about Laura and Dave’s wedding had a nautical theme, including their cake, place settings, and many other features. It was all well thought out and beautifully presented.
