American Liver Foundation Flavors Gala at the Grand Del Mar.
Andrew Abouna Photography is proud to have again donated event photography services for the 2013 and 10th annual American Liver Foundation Flavors Gala at the The Grand Del Mar. It was a unique gourmet delight that pleased many palates. Thirty of San Diego’s TOP CHEFS created a night of exquisite food, fine wines and elaborate table décor, and the Art of Christopher M The Painter of Chef’s, all benefitting the American Liver Foundation.
Each chef at the American Liver Foundation Flavors Gala at the Grand Del Mar prepared a gourmet extravaganza for their personal table of 10 guests, complete with culinary creations, unique centerpieces, fine linens, and a wonderful “foodie” delight and experience in a distinct evening of dining helping to fund the research, education and advocacy efforts of the American Liver Foundation.
The American Liver Foundation Flavors Gala at the Grand Del Mar was attended by a wide range of guests who not only enjoyed and contributed to the San Diego event, but who also have received life-saving benefits from the fund-raising events by the American Liver Foundation. As the son of a pioneering transplant-surgeon, I felt a personal connection to the efforts of the organization, and the gift of life of transplantation and advances in medicine supported by the Foundation. In fact, the event had an additional personal connection that spans a number of decades, but that’s another story….
