The 2015 March of Dimes Signature Chefs & Master Mixologists Gala Auction was a culinary extravaganza spotlighting celebrity chefs and master mixologists, gourmet food tastings, and auction items in support of the March of Dimes. We at Andrew Abouna Photography again donated event photography services to the March of Dimes to capture the evening’s event, this year at the Del Mar Country Club in San Diego County.
The March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction took place first outdoors and then in the ballroom of the Del Mar Country Club. The Del Mar event photography captured an array of cooking stations where some of San Diego’s top chefs were creating and serving delectable delights for the guests to savor. Intermixed were tables with a range of wine, liquor and crafted drinks, all prepared and presented by drink mixologists.
Within the same space, a variety of items were on display for silent auction, with proceeds going to support research, education, and advocacy programs aimed to reduce the rates of prematurity, birth defects, and infant mortality. It was the ballroom at the Del Mar Country Club that then hosted the main auction event of the evening, which was a live action of experimental opportunities for guests to bid on. The Del Mar event photography captured shots the hosts, guests bidding, the energy of the room, and some shots of the band Mirage playing a delightful mix of music for the audience.
The Del Mar event photography services provided of the silent and live action included onsite photography, image processing, and gallery hosting of all images in both low and high resolution for the March of Dimes to download.
