Documentary photography captured for AeroMedEvac, a patient transport by air ambulance service. In this video a young patient receives prompt medical care, both on the ground and in the air, as she is transported from the U.S.-Mexico Border to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Sacramento, California. The video is a dynamic slideshow created using commercial photography to capture some of the business processes of the air ambulance service.
The AeroMedEvac air ambulance mission began with planning, coordination and medical team preparation in El Cajon, CA, located within San Diego County in Southern California. A ground ambulance transported the patient and the medical team from the border area, where the patient is received from a Tijuana-based ambulance. The patient is then transported to the KingAir aircraft waiting in El Cajon, and along with the attending medical person, is promptly flown to Sacramento, CA.
Upon landing in Sacramento, a third ambulance then transports the patient to Shriners Hospital where she will receive special medical treatment. With the mission a success, the KingAir and team flies south back to El Cajon. Commercial photography, like that used in capturing the sequence of events used in preparing this video, can be very beneficial to documenting a range of business processes.
