The United States Navy Medical Service Corps recently held their annual ball and birthday, celebrating 68 years. The Medical Service Corps is an organization of physicians in a variety of specialties dedicated to providing a range of medical services, including humanitarian aid and medical help to populations across the globe. On this Summer evening in San Diego, California it was a delightful and fun event photography shoot to capture the Medical Service Corps ball photos, hosted at the Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center
Admiral Kidd, located at the Naval Mine and Anti-Submarine Warfare Command (NMAWC), offered breathtaking views of the San Diego Bay and skyline, and served as an excellent backdrop to the Officers’ group photo and some other portrait shots that were captured as part of the Ball photos. The catering staff of Admiral Kidd, like all of the other Navy Region Southwest catering and event facilities that I’ve conducted event photography, provided wonderful service for the Medical Service Corps’ Ball.
In addition to the aforementioned posted photos, the evening’s event photography to capture the Ball photos included a nice collection of candid photos, including opening remarks and the various speakers, toasts, overview and detail shots, and photography of the color (flag) guard ceremony. In addition, the guests enjoyed a fun opening session that featured a latin dance presentation and group lesson. DJ and music for this and other parts of the evening’s event were provided very nicely by Primo DJ, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with at other events, too.
The two-hour event photography package for the Navy Medical Service Corps photos includes a private online gallery of photos to view, share and download. And with so many great event photos that I created of the Ball, the very best way to commemorate the event would be in a beautiful, Italian-made album so that their photos are always available to see and share, just as I’ve created for a range of other private and corporate events.
