With Christmas time approaching it was and occasion for a small gathering to celebrate a successful year of donations, recognition for special contributions, and a look ahead to the coming year for the Sharp Coronado Hospital Foundation.
At this year’s Christmastime event, it was my pleasure to donate a couple of hours of event photography to capture a joyful evening at a lovely residence in Coronado. The evening’s photography began with posed photography of couples in front of a perfectly decorated Christmas tree. The photography for Sharp Coronado Hospital Foundation then included shots of the wonderful food and catering provided onsite by Chef David Rogow of Dinners by David, and of guests enjoying the fabulous food he and his staff created.
A bit later in the evening, the event photography captured presentations by Sharp Coronado Hospital Foundation Chair Dan Gensler, Sharp Coronado Hospital CEO Susan Stone, and presentation of the Donald N. Sharp Award to Carol Sommer.
Sharp Hospital was first opened in 1950 and was named for Donald N. Sharp in memory of the US Army Corps Lt. who had been killed in World War II. Since 1978, the Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing the current and future health care needs of Coronado residents, visitors and the surrounding community through support of programs, services and equipment at Sharp Coronado Hospital.
Featured on this page are a few of my photographer favorite shots, but you may see the complete collection of all the photos from the evening event by visiting my San Diego Event Photographer Client Galleries page (password required).
As with other events for hospitals and non-profit organizations, it was my pleasure to again have donated event photography services for their wonderful functions. To find out more information about event photography, please contact me.
