Energy Upgrade California and the Padres at Petco Park

Energy Upgrade California at Petco Park

Energy Upgrade California is a non-profit organization that is the go-to source for energy management in California. With sponsorship from the San Diego Padres and organization by Ogilvy Public Relations of Sacramento, CA, a press release was featured today at the Western Metal Company rooftop restaurant that is connected to the downtown Petco Ballpark. Photos on this page show a few of the photos that I captured of the event for Ogilvy at Petco Park in San Diego. Ogilvy Public Relations was just named the pan-EMEA Consultancy of the Year 2014 and it was my pleasure to provide event photography again for them.

Goals of Energy Upgrade California are to save energy costs and the impacts of using energy and resources. With the recent fires in San Diego County and the very high use of water and energy to fight those fires, and the very high heat experienced in the region, brings to light even more the need to save resources and costs. The organization can help by offering incentives to homeowners in reducing energy costs while increasing comfort.

Event photography at today’s event included capturing photo-journalistic style, documentary photography of the event and its speakers, and of the program’s California Bear mascot. I always include editorial and creative event photography when shooting, and this gallery features a few of those types of photos, too.
